For v0.1.8, TMG360YT designed the layouts and images for the main menu.
The main menu (tab menu) in Galactic Legends will be an important aspect of interactive UI within the game. Here, you will be able to access your inventory, missions, a map of the Celestoria Cluster, and much more. Take a look!
Inventory
Your inventory is where you can access a visual all of your items, and select items for your hotbar and armor slots.
Skills
When you level up in Galactic Legends, you receive skills points that you can apply in the skills menu to expand upon your gameplay.
Missions
This submenu is where you can manage all of your adventure and council mission progress, your storyline path, and more to expand upon your exploration experience.
MAP
Within the map, you can access 6 different points of view of the Celestoria Cluster - a full view of the cluster, alongside region, sector, galaxy, system, and planet views. You can also find positions of active missions and storyline locations.
Active Missions
Active Missions is somewhat of a preview of your Missions submenu - this will show you all of your active council missions, where to find their locations, and other information you can quickly access with Active Missions.
Server Info
Server Info shows information about the server you’re in - the server’s sector, procedurally assigned name, uptime, and server version. You can also use this to join different servers and play with your friends if they’re in the same sector.
Combat Module
longandshortname + waynedurbin44
Over the past few months, the lead programmer has been building a combat module for Galactic Legends. We’re coming close to finishing a basic version, with our newest programmer chipping in for optimization and cleanup.
The Combat Module is the backbone for all combat-related systems and features in Galactic Legends. There are various aspects that can affect your combat style from as broad as your player level to as narrow as the modifications on your weapon.
General player level will slightly advance all statistics applied to combat.
Every player level will also give skill points which can be spent on advancing specific statistics further.
The weapon and armor you have equipped is the main determination of your general combat style.
When upgrading your armor/weapon level, it slightly increases the output of certain statistics.
Plating can be applied to your gear to add a small stat multiplier to each statistic the item advances/utilizes.
Modifications can also be applied to your armor and tools to take advantage of status effects.
